Do I need to be a SOCMA member to attend?

No. The SOCMA Show is open to both members and non-members. SOCMA members receive exclusive discounted registration and exhibit rates, providing added value as part of their membership.

What is the cancellation or substitution policy?

Cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to meetings@socma.org by December 18, 2026. Refunds will be issued less a $150 processing fee.

No refunds will be provided after December 18, 2026. Substitutions are permitted.

Are one-day or buyer passes available?

The SOCMA Show does not currently offer one-day passes. Buyers interested in attending or learning more about registration options should contact Joe Dettinger, Vice President of Manufacturing & Commercial Programs, at jdettinger@socma.org .

Hotel & Travel

Where should I stay during the SOCMA Show?

The JW Marriott Nashville is the official host hotel for the 2027 SOCMA Show.

Registered attendees are eligible for a discounted room rate of $345 per night. The official booking link will be included in your registration confirmation email.

What airport should I fly into?

The closest airport is Nashville International Airport (BNA), approximately eight miles from downtown Nashville.

Taxi, Uber, and Lyft service is available between the airport and the JW Marriott Nashville.

Planning Your Show

When will the Show schedule be available?

The 2027 schedule is available now and will continue to be updated as sessions, speakers, and Show activities are finalized.

How can I schedule meetings with other attendees?

New for 2027, SOCMA is introducing the Stova event app to make it easier to connect before and during the Show.

Registered attendees will receive app access before the event and can use it to view attendees, connect with other participants, and schedule meetings in advance.

Will an attendee list be available?

Yes. New for 2027, registered attendees will have access to the full attendee list in the Stova app, including name, title, and company.

Approximately 45 days before the Show, a limited attendee list will also be available on the SOCMA Show website, showing company and title.

This gives attendees an earlier look at who will be at the Show while providing registered attendees with more complete information through the app.

What networking opportunities are available?

Networking is built throughout the SOCMA Show, including receptions, breakfasts and lunches, coffee breaks, meetings arranged through the Show app, and conversations throughout the exhibit floor.

SOCMA members also have access to the SOCMA Member Lounge during designated hours.

I’m attending for the first time. Is there anything specifically for me?

Yes. First-time attendees are invited to the First-Time Attendee Reception on February 23 from 5:00–6:00 p.m.

The reception provides an opportunity to meet other attendees and get oriented before the Show begins.

What are Exhibitor Showcases?

Exhibitor Showcases are short presentations where participating companies highlight their manufacturing capabilities, technologies, services, and solutions.

They give attendees a quick way to learn about potential partners before continuing conversations on the exhibit floor.

Is the SOCMA Show accessible to attendees with disabilities?

Yes. SOCMA is committed to providing an accessible event experience.

Attendees who require accommodations should contact meetings@socma.org in advance of the Show so the SOCMA team can assist.

How do I become an exhibitor?

Exhibit space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Companies interested in exhibiting can contact SOCMA at meetings@socma.org .

The SOCMA Show welcomes companies that serve the specialty chemical industry, including chemical manufacturers, equipment and technology providers, distributors, logistics companies, engineering firms, professional service providers, and other industry solution partners.

What does exhibit space include?

Each exhibit space includes:

  • Two staff badges with full Show access
  • A table and chairs

Can exhibitors add an Exhibitor Showcase?

Showcase opportunities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibit + Showcase packages include exhibit space, two staff badges, and a 15-minute presentation highlighting your company’s capabilities, technologies, or services.
